Message from the Club Chairman

Dear Member,

I hope this message finds you well and raring to get back into the Club. I thought it was time just to let you know that your club is still there and in excellent condition waiting to welcome you back. I have kept the heating on throughout the winter, at a lower temperature of course but enough to keep the building in good shape. I visit and inspect twice a week, collect the bills and Sue pays them promptly, being closed does not stop the insurance, security, rent etc.. We have furloughed Richard and Colin and they have been paid throughout the closed down period.

We are receiving all the Government Grants that we are entitled to and we are financially sound. We don’t know of course when we can re-open and it would seem not before the end of March at the earliest. Let’s hope that we can get some sort of summer season in.

B.I.B.C. is not going away; it will be there whenever we are allowed to open. All it will need is your presence.

I hope to see you all on the green carpet before too long, get your jabs as soon as you can and stay safe.
